The sharp plastic edges on this magnetic towel bar scratched my brand new fridge. The magnets are not powerful adequate to preserve it from moving and scratching the surface it is mounted on.
The magnets are a lot strong, it is good seeking, and tiny adequate to fit on any metal surface in a kitchen. Not major enough for a kitchen towel, say, to dry with no folding it more than a little.
