This product is beautiful and looks exactly as I expected it to, but I ran into issues installing it. Instructions make it seem as though it will work fine even if you are not screwing the mounting pieces into studs, but it is so heavy that when I installed into drywall with anchors as instructed, it slanted forward and created a big bulge in the drywall around the mounting piece. Placing towels on top of it added to the weight and the issue was compounded. Make sure you have sturdy backing before you attempt to install.

Another nicely done piece from Gatco. This product series is a nice departure from the millions of traditional decorator items in inventory at the big box stores. In fact, all of accessories for both of our bathrooms are from this product line. As far as towel racks go, this one is smaller than you might find in a typical hotel bathroom. But it feels right at home in our guest bathroom. It's a snap to install, and it suits our needs to a Tee.
