During a latest bathroom remodel I required a towel ring for a decorative towel. The Moen DN8486BN fit my requires and did so with modern day style. The brushed nickel is desirable and matches nicely with the cabinets hardware that I got from a different supplier. The construction is solid and the high quality is great. The base is a cup and saucer style. An unfinished mount screws to the wall with two screws(drywall anchors included), then the base(cup) slips over the mount and tightens down with a smaller flat-head set screw. The ring is solid and has no slop amongst the ring and the base. The only factor I did not like about this piece is the plastic sleeves that are between the base and the ring. The plastic is there to tighten up the ring so that it does not flop around but the plastic itself is a smaller eyesore.

Not crazy about the plastic piece at the intersection of the ring and bracket. It looks low-cost. Also, you need to have a highly smaller screwdriver to install. A jewelry screwdriver essentially. The matching towel bar had a single of the tiny screws that was practically impossible to loosen--extremely annoying. Could be superior created doesn't feel extremely substantial.
