This item does specifically what it was intended to do. Quick installation, nice chrome finish. Cannot beat it primarily for the value.
The towel ring itself was as described, but, as a earlier reviewer mentioned, the package was missing a really vital piece -- the machine screw that holds the ring to the mounting bracket, which attaches to the wall! I was not enthused about getting to go to a house improvement store, towel ring in hand, to attempt to match the screw that was supposed to have been included with the towel ring. In addition, anchors are not included with it, so if you are hanging the ring on drywall, you will want to make sure that you have those on hand as properly.
